Instituto de Historia, 2014-07-01) Comella GutiĆ©rrez, BeatrizEl artĆculo aborda una sĆntesis sobre la evoluciĆ³n pedagĆ³gica de los seminarios conciliares espaƱoles partiendo de la IlustraciĆ³n; la legislaciĆ³n de los gobiernos espaƱoles y los acuerdos Iglesia Estado sobre los mismos; ademĆ”s expone concisamente la naturaleza y pedagogĆa de estos centros acadĆ©micos en los documentos pontificios y conciliares del siglo XX.PublicaciĆ³n Lecturas teolĆ³gicas del humanista Juan Funguerio: una mirada a travĆ©s de su biblioteca(Instituto TeolĆ³gico de CĆ”ceres, 2021-10-19) Comella GutiĆ©rrez, BeatrizEl presente trabajo tiene como objetivo dar a conocer la biblioteca teolĆ³gica del humanista neerlandĆ©s Juan Funguerio (1546-1612), comprobando si sus lecturas reflejan su personalidad y contexto; formado en las universidades catĆ³licas de Lovaina y Colonia, ejerciĆ³ como director de escuelas de gramĆ”tica latina en su Frisia natal y se adhiriĆ³ tempranamente al calvinismo moderado. Cuatro son los enfoques metodolĆ³gicos utilizados: histĆ³rico, cuantitativo, cualitativo y hermenĆ©utico, partiendo del catĆ”logo de la subasta de su biblioteca, ejecutada en Leiden al aƱo siguiente de su muerte. Instituto de Historia, 2017-07-01) Vergara Ciordia, Francisco Javier; Comella GutiĆ©rrez, BeatrizEste artĆculo analiza el fenĆ³meno de la censura en la CompaƱĆa de JesĆŗs en la Edad Moderna. Se abordan dos grandes temas: la opinionum censura y la nostrorum librorum censura. Se estudian cinco frentes documentales: las Observanda circa usum librorum prohibitorum del P. Mercuriano (1575), el breve Exponi nobis del papa Gregorio XIII (1575), el Ā«Procedimiento que los censores de Roma observarĆ”n para examinar los librosĀ» [Quae a romanis censoribus observari oportet in censendis libris], aprobado por el P. Acquaviva en 1601, las Regulae Revisorum generalium contempladas en el decreto XI de la X CongregaciĆ³n General (1652) y el anĆ”lisis de diferentes decretos sobre censura planteados en las Congregaciones Generales de los siglos xvii y xviii. El material de trabajo se ha extraĆdo del depĆ³sito documental sobre el derecho interno de la CompaƱĆa, recogido en la ediciĆ³n de Praga de Institutum Societatis Iesu (1767).PublicaciĆ³n El Estudio General de Calatayud y la educaciĆ³n en la Edad Media(Universidad Nacional de EducaciĆ³n a Distancia (EspaƱa). Centro Asociado de Calatayud, 2015) Comella GutiĆ©rrez, BeatrizDurante mi intervenciĆ³n intentarĆ© dar respuesta a tres preguntas fundamentales: en primer lugar, porquĆ© naciĆ³ el Estudio General de Calatayud; en segundo tĆ©rmino, quĆ© tipo de estudios ofrecĆa y para finalizar, porquĆ© motivo dejĆ³ de funcionar como tal, sĆ³lo tres aƱos despuĆ©s de su fundaciĆ³n. Para responder a estas cuestiones, previamente, tratarĆ© de contextualizar todos estos hechos en la Historia de la EducaciĆ³n medieval.PublicaciĆ³n Johann Fungerās Pedagogy in the Context of Northern Humanism(eum (Edizioni UniversitĆ di Macerata), 2018) Comella GutiĆ©rrez, BeatrizJohannes Funguerius or Johann Funger (1546-1612) was a humanist from Frisia, a region in the north of the Netherlands. He studied at the Collegium Trilingue, Leuven and in Cologne. He was a doctor of both (civil and canon) laws, but especially, a teacher at the Latin Grammar Schools in his native Frisia. He was an admirer of Cicero, Seneca and Quintilian, disciple of Agricola and Erasmus, Melanchthon and Calvin. He is the author of 16 works, most of which were on philology and were published in the Netherlands, France, Germany and Italy. This paper analyzes a pedagogical treatise: "De puerorum disciplina et recta educatione liber" ("Book on the Discipline and Right Education of Young Boys", 1584) published by Plantin Press, Antwerp.PublicaciĆ³n Holy Bible in Johannes Fungerius Library (1546-1612): a Dutch Calvinist of the beginnings(Servicio de Publicaciones, Universidad de Navarra, 2020) Comella GutiĆ©rrez, BeatrizEl artĆculo analiza el contenido de la biblioteca privada del humanista neerlandĆ©s Juan Funguerio (1546-1612) notable bibliĆ³filo, formada por unos 1100 tĆtulos, segĆŗn el documento de subasta pĆŗblica de los mismos, verificada en Leiden en 1613. Se estudiarĆ”n el conjunto de los libros teolĆ³gicos y especialmente los ejemplares de la Sagrada Escritura, a fin de comprobar si respondĆan al perfil de un calvinista de primera hora. However, in the archives and libraries of our country there are at least 19 manuscripts and 90 (65 incunabula of them) printed works are located, according to the Collective Catalogue of the Spanish Bibliographic Heritage. Historiography shows that influence of Beauvais in our country, between the 13th and 20th centuries, is greater than what until now had been studied. Through these pages it is evident that the number of works preserved Beauvais is important, but the fact that his work and thought, united with the previous classical and Christian tradition, is powerful in many Hispanic authors from the XIII century to today.PublicaciĆ³n Vincent of Beauvais and Navarre. He holds a PhD in History of Education at the University of Navarra (1986), also with Honours. He is currently Professor in the Department of History of Education and Comparative Education at the National University of Distance Education in Madrid (UNED) and Visiting Professor at the University of Navarra. Was Fellow Researcher Institutum Historicum Societatis Iesu in Rome (IHSI) and since 2005 Director of the Group of Medieval and Renaissance Studies (GEMYR). This study shows not only political but also cultural relations, of Navarre with France and Castile. It is situated in the context of contributions to the history of late medieval Education, published under the direction of Prof. Vergara Ciordia by the Group for Medieval and Renaissance Studies (GEMYR), which is based in the Faculty of Education at UNED.
