Instituto de Historia, 2006-07-01) Comella GutiĆ©rrez, BeatrizDesde sus orĆgenes medievales hasta el Concordato de 1753, la Real Capilla de Palacio de Madrid ha sido una peculiar jurisdicciĆ³n, a la que se pertenecĆa por el hecho de ser cortesano o trabajar para el rey. Al frente de la Real Capilla estuvo, desde el siglo XVI, el Pro-capellĆ”n de Palacio que tenĆa el tĆtulo honorĆfico de Patriarca de las Indias Occidentales. Desde mitad del siglo XVIII, para evitar pleitos con otras jurisdicciones eclesiĆ”sticas, los Papas Benedicto XIV y PĆo VI seƱalaron unos lĆmites territoriales a la Real Capilla que pasĆ³ a ser, de hecho, una prelatura vere nullius, integrada por la Parroquia Ministerial de Palacio, la Parroquia de El Pardo y la Parroquia de Aranjuez, aunque, no llegĆ³ a ser erigida como tal prelatura. A principios del siglo XIX hubo un intento fallido de convertir la Parroquia palatina en catedral, no obstante, el Concordato de 1851 mantuvo la privilegiada jurisdicciĆ³n de la Real Capilla que perdurĆ³ hasta el 1 de abril de 1933.PublicaciĆ³n The work reception of Vincent De Beauvais in Spain(['Instituto TeolĆ³gico "San Pedro de AlcĆ”ntara"', 'Universidad de Extremadura'], 2014-01-01) Vergara Ciordia, Francisco Javier; Comella GutiĆ©rrez, BeatrizIt seems that biography and extensive work of the French Dominican Vincent of Beauvais has been poorly disseminated in Spain until very recently. However, in the archives and libraries of our country there are at least 19 manuscripts and 90 (65 incunabula of them) printed works are located, according to the Collective Catalogue of the Spanish Bibliographic Heritage. Historiography shows that influence of Beauvais in our country, between the 13th and 20th centuries, is greater than what until now had been studied. Through these pages it is evident that the number of works preserved Beauvais is important, but the fact that his work and thought, united with the previous classical and Christian tradition, is powerful in many Hispanic authors from the XIII century to today.PublicaciĆ³n Education of the young according to the humanist, Johann Funger(Elsevier, 2011-01-01) Comella GutiĆ©rrez, BeatrizJohann Funger is a Dutch renaissance scholar, author of āThe Correct Training and Education of the Youngā, published in Antwerp (Belgium) by Christoffel Plantin in 1584. The original Latin text has recently been translated into Spanish and consists of thirty chapters. In his book, Funger deals with the contents of the studies, the intellectual habits of pupils, the virtues they should attain and the vices they should avoid.PublicaciĆ³n Johann Fungerās Pedagogy in the Context of Northern Humanism(eum (Edizioni UniversitĆ di Macerata), 2018) Comella GutiĆ©rrez, BeatrizJohannes Funguerius or Johann Funger (1546-1612) was a humanist from Frisia, a region in the north of the Netherlands. He studied at the Collegium Trilingue, Leuven and in Cologne. He was a doctor of both (civil and canon) laws, but especially, a teacher at the Latin Grammar Schools in his native Frisia. He was an admirer of Cicero, Seneca and Quintilian, disciple of Agricola and Erasmus, Melanchthon and Calvin. He is the author of 16 works, most of which were on philology and were published in the Netherlands, France, Germany and Italy. This paper analyzes a pedagogical treatise: "De puerorum disciplina et recta educatione liber" ("Book on the Discipline and Right Education of Young Boys", 1584) published by Plantin Press, Antwerp.PublicaciĆ³n El Estudio General de Calatayud y la educaciĆ³n en la Edad Media(Universidad Nacional de EducaciĆ³n a Distancia (EspaƱa). Ambas instituciones siguen funcionando en la actualidad como centros educativos catĆ³licos mixtos y concertados. Los dos fueron patronatos reales pertenecientes a la jurisdicciĆ³n eclesiĆ”stica de Palacio. Se han conservado las Constituciones de ambos aprobadas bajo el reinado de Felipe V. Aunque los Colegios tienen una historia paralela, la citada normativa es muy diferente para cada instituciĆ³n; segĆŗn las Constituciones, Santa Isabel y Loreto tienen mĆ”s aspectos diferenciadores que comunes.
