Resumen
El texto trata de exponer la dificultad de las mujeres con discapacidad para el ejercicio del derecho al trabajo. Una vez que acceden al mundo laboral la brecha salarial es todavía mayor que el resto de mujeres por lo que se analiza cuales pueden ser las causas así como el origen de la discriminación que sufren. Sin embargo, la realidad nos muestra que este colectivo, cuando logra acceder al tejido empresarial, su productividad no queda por debajo del resto de trabajadores aunque todavía se les niegan ajustes razonables para poder desempeñar sus tareas en igualdad de condiciones derivando la solución , no en pocas ocasiones, al ámbito judicial. Asimismo, se pone de relieve las dificultades para la conciliación de la vida laboral y familiar en este grupo de mujeres. En otro orden de cosas, las mujeres que son víctimas de violencia de género tienen la protección legal para el acceso preferente al ámbito laboral lo que propicia su inserción en la sociedad en condiciones de igualdad, amparo que se acrecienta en las mujeres con discapacidad. Con la legislación en materia de igualdad de oportunidades no sólo se da cabida a la erradicación de la discriminación por razón de género sino que debe darse espacio a la mujer con discapacidad erradicando así la discriminación por razón de discapacidad. Todo ello, pone de relieve la necesidad de incluir en los Planes de Igualdad y estrategias mercantiles la especificidad de las mujeres con discapacidad para acercarnos cada vez más a la igualdad real y efectiva.
The text tries to expose the difficulty of women with disabilities to exercise the right to work. Once they enter the world of work, the wage gap is even greater than that of other women, so the causes and the origin of the discrimination they suffer are analyzed. However, reality shows us that this group, when they gain access to the business fabric, their productivity is not below the rest of the workers, although they are still denied reasonable adjustments to be able to carry out their tasks in equal conditions, deriving the solution, not in few times, to the judicial sphere. Likewise, the difficulties in reconciling work and family life in this group of women are highlighted. In another order of things, women who are victims of gender violence have legal protection for preferential access to the workplace, which encourages their insertion into society under conditions of equality, protection that increases in women with disabilities. Legislation on equal opportunities not only makes room for the eradication of discrimination based on gender, but space must be given to women with disabilities, thus eradicating discrimination based on disability. All this highlights the need to include in Equality Plans and commercial strategies the specificity of women with disabilities to bring us closer to real and effective equality
