dc.description.abstractThis paper presents a study on the evaluation of mathematical competence based on the use of materials included in the repository maintained by the European Network Developing Quality in Mathematics Education (DQME). The sample is formed by a group of 242 students of the UNED of Spain who took the test of access to university for people over 25 years old. The study use a logistic model founded on Item Response Theory (IRT) and show interesting differential characteristics of the evaluation activities inspired by the questions proposed in the database generated by the DQME network.en
