Resumen
Este artículo señala la clave del feminismo pragmatista contemporáneo: el sentido práctico de la teoría. El pragmatismo interpreta las teorías como guías para transformar las situaciones que les dieron origen. Desde este perspectivismo y experimentalismo, autoras neopragmatistas contemporáneas están reinterpretando la crítica feminista. Este feminismo neopragmatista, afín al interés posmoderno por el origen situado de las teorías y al afán emancipador del feminismo crítico, representa una vía alternativa que está impulsando al feminismo contemporáneo.
The article provides us with the key to unlocking contemporary pragmatic feminism: the practical side of theory. Pragmatism interprets theories in order to use them as guides for transforming the very situations that gave origin to them. Neopragmatic feminist authors are reinterpreting feminist critique from this perspectivism and experimentalism. This neopragmatist feminism is related to the postmodern interest for the placed origin of theories as well as to critical feminism’s emancipating goal, and represents an alternative means by which contemporary feminism is driven.
