dc.description.abstractEn 2011, la UE al pretender convertirse en un actor global, elaboró una estrategia de seguridad y desarrollo para el Sahel (ESDS), con motivo de la inestabilidad de la zona. Sin embargo, dicha estrategia no fue capaz de prever y evitar el conflicto de Malí que se inició en 2012 con la cuarta rebelión Tuareg. Como consecuencia directa, se elaboró un Plan de acción Regional (PAR) (2015-2020) para el Sahel en 2015, en el que se definieron las acciones detalladas a emplear para la implementación de la primera. La finalidad de la investigación será analizar ambos documentos, y estudiar el éxito o el fracaso de los mismos en su aplicación en Malí durante el periodo (marzo 2011 – junio 2018).es
dc.description.abstractIn 2011, the EU, intending to become a global player, developed a Security and Development strategy for the Sahel, due to the instability of the area. However, this strategy was not able to foresee and avoid the conflict in Mali that began in 2012 with the fourth Tuareg rebellion. As a direct consequence, a Regional Action Plan (PAR) (2015-2020) for the Sahel was prepared in 2015, in which the detailed actions to be used for the implementation of the first were defined. The purpose of the investigation will be to analyze both documents, and to study the success or failure of these, in their application in Mali during the period (March 2011 - June 2018).en
