Resumen
El departamento de Córdoba-Colombia es conocido por ser una región de alta producción ganadera, producto de estas actividades se genera residuos orgánicos como son las heces fecales y contenido ruminal bovino. En este trabajo se evaluó el gas generado en un biodigestor rotativo durante un periodo de producción de 42 días. Se consideraron dos especies de muestras, la primera muestra contenía 100% heces bovinas (H100) y la segunda muestra tenia una mezcla de heces y contenido ruminal, el cual se empleó una relación de 70% heces y 30% contenido ruminal (H70-CR30). Asimismo, se monitorearon las variables de presión, temperatura y pH, además de analizar la composición del biogás generado. Los resultados mostraron que para la muestra H70-CR30 tuvo una producción mayor de 64% en comparación con la H100 y el ensayo cromatográfico mostro que para la muestra H70-CR30 se obtuvieron porcentajes de metano mayores que para la composición H100.

In this work, the gas generated in a rotary biodigester was evaluated during a production period of 42 days. Two species of samples were considered, the first sample contained 100% bovine feces (H100) and the second sample had a mixture of feces and ruminal content, which used a ratio of 70% feces and 30% ruminal content (H70-CR30). Likewise, the variables of pressure, temperature and pH were monitored, in addition to analyzing the composition of the biogas generated. The results showed that the H70-CR30 sample had a higher production of 64% compared to the H100 and the chromatographic assay showed that for the H70-CR30 sample higher methane percentages were obtained than for the H100 composition.
