dc.description.abstractLos estudios de François Xavier Cuche y Fabrice Preyat han fijado una renovada imagen del Petit Concile, el cenáculo de estudios bíblicos que se reunía alrededor de Bossuet. La visión previa de un polo intelectual difuso ha dado paso al reconocimiento de una instancia cultural en el que se fraguó un programa social católico consagrado a estimular una dinámica de regeneración moral y de cristianización de las prácticas literarias. Ese viraje no sólo redimensiona el estudio de la cartografía católica francesa del tiempo y su evolución en el horizonte ilustrado. También permite contemplar bajo un prisma diferente la profundidad del proceso de recepción y la secuencia de traducción al castellano de las obras que dieron forma a aquel programa. Y así se abre la posibilidad de enriquecer las consideraciones sobre la naturaleza del catolicismo ilustrado hispano.es
dc.description.abstractThe work of François Xavier Cuche and Fabrice Preyat has established a renewal image for the Petit Concile, the cenacle of biblical studies that gathered around Bossuet. The previous vision of a diffuse intellectual pole has given a path to the recognition of a cultural instance in which a Catholic social program consecrated to stimulating a dynamic of moral regeneration and Christianization of literary practices was forged. This turn not only gives a new dimension to the study of French Catholic cartography of the period and its evolution in the enlightened horizon. It also allows contemplating the depth of the reception process and the sequence of translation into Spanish of the works that shaped that program from a different perspective. And therefore the possibility of enriching the considerations on the nature of Hispanic enlightened Catholicism opens up.es
