Publicación Digital repertoires of poetry metrics: towards a Linked Open Data ecosystem(2016-01-01) Curado Malta, Mariana; González-Blanco García, Elena; Rio Riande, Gimena del; Martínez Cantón, Clara IsabelThis paper presents work-in-progress of the POSTDATA project. This project aims to provide means to solve the interoperability issues that exist among the digital poetry repertoires. These repertoires hold data of poetry metrics that is locked in their own databases and it is not freely available to be compared and to be used by intelligent machines that could infer over the data. The POSTDATA project will use Linked Open Data (LOD) technologies to overcome the interoperability problems. POSTDATA is developing a metadata application prole (MAP) for the digital poetry repertoires, a construct that enhances interoperability. This development follows the method for the development of MAP (Me4MAP). A MAP for the digital poetry repertoires will open doors for these repertoires to be able to structure the data with a common model in order to publish it as Linked Open Data. This paper presents how this MAP is being developed so far.Publicación Modelação de dados poéticos: uma perspectiva desde os dados abertos e ligados(Berlin : De Gruyter, 2019) Curado Malta, MarianaO presente capítulo apresenta o trabalho de um projecto de investigação (POSTDATA) que se focaliza no tratamento de dados relacionados com poesia europeia (PE). Apresenta em particular o trabalho realizado no âmbito da criação de um modelo de dados que represente as necessidades informacionais da comunidade científica da PE. Este modelo de dados é um marco no desenvolvimento de um perfil de aplicação de metadados (MAP). Um MAP é um constructo no contexto dos dados ligados e abertos (LOD) que fornece informações de referência sobre o contexto global dos dados relacionados e suas restrições. O MAP é um importante constructo porque potencia a interoperabilidade de dados de uma comunidade. Este capítulo apresenta a modelação RDF enquadrada no desenvolvimento particular do modelo de dados específico à comunidade referida. Como trabalho futuro perspectiva-se a continuação do desenvolvimento do MAP para fornecer a esta comunidade um instrumento que potencia a interoperabilidade dos dados.Publicación Poesía, interoperabilidad y estándares para el tratamiento de datos poéticos. Una aproximación desde el proyecto POSTDATAGonzález-Blanco García, Elena; Bermúdez Sabel, Helena; Curado Malta, Mariana; Rio Riande, Gimena del; Ferreyra, Diego; Ruiz Fabo, Pablo; Martínez Cantón, Clara IsabelEste panel integra y agrupa varias aproximaciones tecnológicas al tratamiento computacional de la poesía, que se suman y se trabajan en paralelo dentro del proyecto POSTDATA (www.postdata.linhd.es), un proyecto financiado por la Comisión Europea a través de su programa ERC Starting Grant, que busca la interoperabilidad de datos poéticos procedentes de diferentes fuentes, tradiciones y corpora mediante la utilización de estándares tecnológicos: los datos enlazados y la creación de un perfil de aplicación para el análisis poético; la utilización de estándares existentes en el ámbito de las Humanidades Digitales, como el TEI y la automatización de los procesos de análisis de los textos y específicamente de la poesía, gracias a la utilización combinada de las tecnologías del lenguaje, el aprendizaje automático y el análisis estadístico de los textos. El panel consiste en una presentación de los resultados obtenidos hasta el momento mediante 1) la presentación del proceso de construcción del modelo de datos poéticos obtenido tras realizar el análisis de veinte (20) bases de datos de proyectos dedicados a poesía, y que servirá como base para la creación de un perfil de aplicación de metadatos; 2) la recolección y organización de los vocabularios controlados que cada una de las diferentes tradiciones poéticas, lingüísticas y culturales utiliza para nombrar y clasificar su información, gracias al uso de una herramienta común de gestión de estos vocabularios (TemaTres); 3) el análisis de los problemas específicos del modelado de la rima , y 4) los nuevos retos del proyecto y las líneas que están en marcha, como la cuestión de la transformación de los datos en XML/TEI para datos en RDF teniendo como base el modelo semántico del perfil de aplicación de metadatos, o la definición de los algoritmos que configurarán el “PoetryLAB”, espacio de análisis y experimentación con PLN y tecnologías del lenguaje que buscan automatizar el proceso de análisis poético.Publicación POSTDATA: Towards publishing European Poetry as Linked Open Data (ABSTRACT)(2016) Curado Malta, Mariana; Centenera, Paloma; González-Blanco García, ElenaPublicación Towards Interoperability in the European Poetry Community: The Standardization of Philological Concepts(Springer International Publishing, 2017) Bermúdez Sabel, Helena; Curado Malta, Mariana; González-Blanco García, ElenaThis paper stems from the Poetry Standardization and Linked Open Data project (POSTDATA). As its name reveals, one of the main aims of POSTDATA is to provide a means to publish European poetry (EP) data as Linked Open Data (LOD). Thus, developing a metadata application profile (MAP) as a common semantic model to be used by the EP community is a crucial step of this project. This MAP will enhance interoperability among the community members in particular, and among the EP community and other contexts in general (e.g. bibliographic records). This paper presents the methodology followed in the process of defining the concepts of the domain model of this MAP, as well as some issues that arise when labeling philological terms.Publicación Using Reverse Engineering to Define a Domain Model: The Case of the Development of a Metadata Application Profile for European Poetry(IGI Global, 2017) Curado Malta, Mariana; Centenera, Paloma; González-Blanco García, ElenaThis chapter presents the early stages of a metadata application profile (MAP) development that uses a process of reverse engineering. The context of this development is the European poetry, more specifically the poetry metrics and all dimensions that exist around this context. This community of practice has a certain number of digital repertoires that store this information and that are not interoperable. This chapter presents some steps of the definition of the MAP Domain Model. It shows how the developers having as starting point these repertoires, and by means of a reverse engineering process are modeling the functional requirements of each repertoire using the use-case modeling technique and are analyzing every database logical models to extract the conceptual model of each repertoire. The final goal is to develop a common conceptual model in order to use it as basis, together with other sources of information, for the definition of the Domain Model.Publicación Validation of a metadata application profile domain model(DCMI, 2018) Curado Malta, Mariana; Bermúdez Sabel, Helena; Baptista, Ana Alice; González-Blanco García, ElenaThe development of Metadata Application Profiles is done in several phases. According to the Me4MAP method, one of these phases is the creation of the domain model. This paper reports the validation process of a domain model developed under the project POSTDATA - Poetry Standardization and Linked Open Data. The development of the domain model ran with two steps of construction and two of validation. The validation steps drew on the participation of specialists in European poetry and the use of real resources. On the first validation we used tables with information about resources related properties and for which the experts had to fill certain fields like, for examples, the values. The second validation used a XML framework to control the input of values in the model. The validation process allowed us to find and fix flaws in the domain model that would otherwise have been passed to the Description Set Profile and possibly would only be found after implementing the application profile in a real case.
