La uniformidad en la distribución del agua es una magnitud que caracteriza a cualquier sistema de riego y que además interviene en su diseño, tanto en el agronómico, puesto que afecta al cálculo de las necesidades totales de agua de los cultivos, como en el hidráulico, pues en función de ella se definen los límites entre los que se permite que varíen los caudales de los elementos de transporte e implementación del agua. La uniformidad es, pues, uno de los objetivos básicos que persigue el diseño y que sirve de puente o nexo de unión entre la agronomía y la hidráulica, puesto que si la uniformidad no es alta, habrá diferencias apreciables entre las cantidades de agua (y abonos disueltos, en el caso de la fertirrigación) que se suministran a unas plantas y otras, y, como consecuencia de ello, el cultivo no será homogéneo y el rendimiento disminuirá.The present work refers to the statistical study of the spatial distribution of hydraulic variables. The uniformity in the distribution of water is a magnitude that characterises any irrigation system and that also intervenes in its design, both in the agronomic, since it affects the calculation of the total water needs of the crops, as in the hydraulic, since depending on this, the limits are defined between allowing the flow of water transport and implementation elements to vary.
