Los gobiernos del mundo han establecido regulaciones relacionadas con el aumento de la eficiencia energética en los edificios. En Colombia existen avances en cuanto a regulación energética de edificaciones y cada vez más, las empresas constructoras optan por certificaciones como LEED y EDGE BUILDINGS. No obstante, el mercado requiere de un sistema de etiquetado energético para promover la oferta y demanda de edificaciones con eficiencia energética. En tal sentido, este artículo describe la Hoja de Ruta para el establecimiento de un sistema de etiquetado energético de edificaciones (SEEE). La investigación del estado actual presenta un sector de la construcción dinámico con alta representatividad en el consumo de energía del país. Así mismo revela la existencia de un contexto normativo y estímulos aún insuficientes para dinamizar la construcción sostenible. Se espera que para 2025 Colombia establezca los primeros pilotos de aplicación voluntaria del SEEE en edificios residenciales y de oficinas. No obstante, para esto, el país necesita fortalecer el marco normativo en eficiencia energética de edificaciones a través de reglamentos técnicos de etiquetado y adecuados mecanismos de vigilancia y control. Así mismo, el mercado requiere de la capacitación de los diferentes actores en temas de eficiencia energética y mayores incentivos.Buildings represent about 36% of total final energy consumption. In Colombia there are advances in terms of energy regulation of buildings and more and more, construction companies opt for certifications such as LEED and EDGE BUILDINGS. However, the market requires an energy labeling system to promote the supply and demand of energy-efficient buildings. In this sense, this article describes the Roadmap for the establishment of a building energy labeling system (SEEE). The investigation of the current state presents a dynamic construction sector with high representativeness in the country's energy consumption. Likewise, it reveals the existence of a regulatory context and incentives that are still insufficient to stimulate sustainable construction. It is expected that by 2025 Colombia will establish the first pilots for the voluntary application of the SEEE in residential and office buildings. However, for this, the country needs to strengthen the regulatory framework for energy efficiency in buildings through technical labeling regulations and adequate monitoring and control mechanisms.
