Para ello se ocupa en primer lugar de analizar dicha fuente de información, indaga luego sobre las condiciones materiales y conocimientos náuticos y geográficos que existían en la época correspondiente, propone seguidamente algunas características del posible viaje para concluir finalmente exponiendo los argumentos favorables y contrarios a la historicidad del hecho en sí.The present work of investigation tries to reach a valid conclusion on the historical veracity of the Phoenician circumnavigation of the African continent ordered by the Egyptian Pharaoh Neco II and transmitted by the historian Heródoto.
