Los actuales sistemas de la negación y la cuantificación en español son producto de un reajuste que tuvo lugar a mediados del siglo XV. Su máxima consecuencia fue la diferente distribución en la concordancia entre cuantificadores y términos negativos en posición preverbal. La investigación desarrollada permite matizar el modo, la fecha y la duración de estos cambios.The purpose of this paper is to provide a description of the diachronic evolution of Spanish existential quantifiers in negative environments. The current systems of negation and quantification in Spanish are the product of a readjustment that took place in the middle of the fifteenth century. Its greatest consequence was the different distribution in the agreement between quantifiers and negative terms in preverbal position.
