El conjunto final se denomina Industria Ósea. El trabajo desde su fabricación hasta su exhumación en cavidades principalmente, ya nos indica un sinfín de vicisitudes historiográficas. El marco analizado tanto diacrónico como sincrónico, es la región central-oriental asturiana. Desde los Neandertales (aproximadamente 50 ka) y ya Cromañones (35 ka – 9 ka), los humanos se asientan en cavidades que son las que hemos podido analizar por tener restos de hueso. Se observa un aprovechamiento intensivo del biotopo circundante al hábitat, que dependerá del clima que se provee.
