Todos estos aspectos han condicionado tanto las características del hábitat humano a lo largo de los tiempos paleolíticos como las distintas adaptaciones que los grupos humanos tuvieron que llevar a cabo para poder desarrollar sus modos de vida y garantizar su supervivencia.The objective of this paper is focused on showing the geological and geomorphological characteristics of western Cantabrian region and its main geomorphological, geoarchaeological and palaeoambiental issues, related with the human activities developed in this place during the Pleistocene.
