En este sentido, se llevará a cabo una minuciosa revisión bibliográfica de las publicaciones centradas en las relaciones entre Roma y sus aliados itálicos, tanto en el corto como en el largo plazo, a fin de contextualizar de manera precisa los factores que contribuyeron a la guerra. Asimismo, se realizará una síntesis de las consecuencias que la contienda acarreó, tanto en la organización del Estado romano como en el complejo entramado de identidades históricas.Through the examination of classical sources and historiographical resources, the present study aims to analyze the state of the art on the possible structural and conjunctural causes, as well as the historical context that triggered the conflict known as Bellum Marsicum. In this sense, a thorough bibliographical review of the publications focused on the relations between Rome and its Italic allies, both in the short and long term, will be carried out in order to accurately contextualize the factors that contributed to the war.
