Esa
indagación nos llevaría a preguntarnos si
el Marcelo Caetano del «Estado Social»
de los años sesenta y setenta es
estructuralmente distinto del Marcelo de
juventud que asumió, aún más que el
propio Salazar, una ideología
revolucionaria de derechas. Obviamente,
no pretendemos responder a esa
importante pregunta, sino presentar
simples hipótesis en este ensayo
tentativo.Normally, «Marcelismo» is defined as an
isolated phenomenon, a period of
approximately 6 years (1968-1974)
thought of as «A Renovation in Continuity»
or even more so as «A blocked
liberalization». However, to fully grasp
«Marcelismo» one must have knowledge
of Marcello Caetano and his evolution.
That research poses the question if
Marcelo Caetano of the «Social State»,
from the sixties and seventies, is
structurally different from the Marcello
Caetano of his youth who assumed, more
than Salazar, a revolutionary right wing
ideology. We do not obviously want to
respond to that important question, but
instead present hypotheses, in this
siglo XX, he intentado plasmar el
varios carlismos. En este trabajo me he
centrado en los acontecimientos que ha
venido reivindicando el sector más
progresista del mismo, y que de alguna
manera son la justificación de su
evolución hacia la izquierda, pero sin
desdeñar otros aspectos que estarían más
próximos al sector tradicionalista. He
focalizado la evolución político-cultural del
carlismo en los siguientes aspectos: la
religiosidad; la sociabilidad en los Círculos
Culturales; la defensa de las culturas
autóctonas periféricas; la cultura obrera y
sindical; la cultura juvenil y estudiantil; la
cultura de la violencia; fiestas, ritos y
conmemoraciones carlistas; y la evolución
cultural e ideológica, incluyendo el papel
de las mujeres.Across a few facts and events that have
been given in the carlist movement during
the 20th century, I have tried to shape the
development or evolution of its political
culture. I have started from the base that
carlism is a more complex movement to
analize that at first sight seems, that its
evolution has not been linear, and one
cannot speak aboutjust one carlism but
several ones. In this work I have centred
on the events that have been reivlndicated
by carlism more progressive sector, and
that somehow, are the justiflcatlon ofits
evolution towards the left side ofpolitics,
but without disdaining other aspects closer
to the traditionalist sector I focused the
carlism political and cultural evolution in
the following aspects: the religiousness;
sociableness in the Cultural Circles;
autochthonous peripheral cultures
defense; the labour and syndical culture;
youthful ans student culture; the culture of
the violence; holidays, rites and carlist
commemorations; and cultural and
ideological evolution, including the role of
women.06962Miralles Climent, Josep .
When we come to the issue of typically
nazi aesthetics, you can expect to have in
mind dreadful images of big parades,
youth meetings, massive speeches in the
open air and fanatic multitudes willing to
assault and destroy any enema at close
range. Unfortunately that’s not the pattern
we obtain out of the analyses either of the
aesthetic practices and materials or the
texts and statements made by the main
responsible agents of nazi aesthetic
production.
We shall see along this article how most of
the nazi aesthetic outcomes were closely
related to the production and stabilization
of such normal and sensible citizens as we
The purpose of this work is to recognize
and highlight the figure, not always
recognized in the current artistic means of
a man, René Metras.
Linked from the forties to Catalan postwar
art movements, he participated with
intellectuals and young catalan artists, with
effort, dedication and personal
commitment, being a figure very significant
in the first moments of Spanish art
vanguards in the fifties and sixties. In
October 1962, he opened the doors of the
gallery bears his name in Consell de Cent
street number 331 in Barcelona,
encouraged by the idea of showing to the
Barcelona public a more innovative art
than sown in most art galleries. A pioneer
in showing what was happening outside
our country, since its opening bet on the
European vanguardists, he saw for the
first time in his rooms the great artists of
the twentieth century; promoted, true his
ideals, youth and relevant Catalan artists
and the rest of the Peninsula, defending
with purity and rigor informalist abstract
art. René Metras not only opened its doors
to Barcelona, he also opened Barcelona to
the international art, being its gallery a
world leader in the asthetic vanguard of
Barcelona.05282Briones Brú, María del Carmen .
