The free and personal character of the satire makes diffi
cult the identification of the metric satirical forms. Nevertheless, in
the classical Spanish theory the frequent use of the tercets, the quatrains
(redondillas) and the blank verse has been observed in satirical
compositions. A way of approaching the problem is to focus on
the burlesque style, and then there can be identified some metric features
that shape a jocose metrics. The end of the verse, for example,
is a privileged place for the manifestation of these features: jocular
rhymes, daring enjambements, echoes… Some forms like the sonnet
with estrambote or the ovillejo also would form a part of the jocose
metrics.04612<a class="citation_author_name" title="Browse by Author Name for Domínguez Caparrós, José" href="/fez/list/author/Domínguez Caparrós, José/">Domínguez Caparrós, José</a> .
