This could be either for its innovative way of reinterpreting the myth due to the new aesthetic elements that are conducted, for the parallels that exist between the ancient and modern world, or due to the way of displaying the artistic genius that each of the chosen directors represent. Four personalities from the film community have taken the theme of the tragedy by Euripides and Seneca, but not as mere pretext to develop a new world plagued with apprehension, nor as a literal transfer of the topic as expressed by their creators in the ancient world.06332Barrio Mendoza, María del Carmen del . While some couples actually succeed in “undoing gender” when the first child arrives, their characteristics that define them are not yet clear. This article provides four different explanations that contribute to understanding how parents share routine care in Spain, using a sample of dual-earner, heterosexual parents from the Spanish Time Use Survey 2010. The results show that fathers are more likely to be “equal sharers” when they: earn less than their spouse; do not hold traditionally masculine jobs (e.g. managers or blue-collar workers); have time available and, more importantly, their spouses are not available from 5 p.m. onward. In line with previous research, this study provides evidence that dismantles the “myth” that higher status employees, and/or those with college education, are more egalitarian in practice.0412Fernández-Lozano, Irina .
divinity with solar and heavenly roles, very
similar to the divinities worshiped in the
rest of the indoeuropean Europe. The
analysis of some celtiberian pieces of art,
revealed to us that this principal divinity
was depicted in the form of a horseman on
his horse and holding a spear. The
iconography shows that this God, one of
his names could be Lugus, took part in
many myths which linked him to war,
fertility and the funerary world.06712Abad Lara, Rubén . nacidos de las gotas de sangre brotada

sources and visual arts created
between Vlllth and llth centuries B.C.
The final challenge to the authority of
the Olympians came from the Giants,
sons of Gala born from the drops of
blood that fell from Ouranos' severed
members. It was the subject on the
north frieze of the Siphinian Treasury
at Delphi and had a particular
importance on the eastern metopes of
the Parthenon (Acrópolis of Athens)

After all, her feminist revisionist poems defy phallogocentrism and the ubiquity of male discourse by endowing fictional female characters with speech and agency. However, this poetic collection has never been explored in relation to Plato‟s theory of Forms. This study brings the mythological poems of The World’s Wife into sharp focus to evidence that Duffy provides a feminist portrayal of what Plato deemed as “immanent universals.” This Master‟s dissertation seeks to analyse four mythological poems from this poetic corpus through the lens of Plato‟s theory of Forms in order to prove that the author not only subverts the myth –which was supposed to be a solid and fixed discourse– but also illustrates the Forms of Disappointment, Beauty, Power and Love from a feminist perspective, thus overthrowing deeply ingrained beliefs about the way we conceive these ideas and emotions. In order to prove how the author illustrates Plato‟s immanent universals differently, I have examined in each poem its poetic language coupled with the relationship between a particular Form and its manifestation into the material world. To begin with, gold will be explored in “Mrs. Midas” to portray a feminine perspective on the Form of Disappointment. Secondly, the Platonic Form of Beauty in “Medusa” and its representation into the sensible particulars of snakes is explored to convey a different perspective of Beauty. Thirdly, the statue as a material representation is studied in “Pygmalion‟s Bride” to portray how Duffy subverts the hegemonic male view of the Form of Power. Finally, Love is the last Platonic Form to be analysed in “Demeter,” which is depicted by natural elements to introduce maternal love as the purest Love of all. By and large, these four polyphonic poems counterattack the father-controlled language discourse by offering an alternative vision of these universal concepts. These paradigms have been traditionally defined according to the hegemonic male gaze and Duffy evidences that these idiosyncratic cornerstones are questioned when analysed from a feminist perspective. Since the dawn of feminism our interpretation of the world has inevitably undergone a metamorphosis and Duffy is an outstanding proof of how our contemporary world questions some „universal truths.‟0Doctoral Thesis8922Ramos Gracia, Samanta. en África tan notable como desajustado a
las aparentes capacidades del país, y eso
fue gracias a una difícil combinación de
factores endógenos y exógenos, un éxito
que llevó a que los dirigentes lusos
confiriesen al Ultramar un papel ideológico
capital.
circunstancias internacionales y
nacionales extremadamente difíciles,
especialmente a partir de 1961. A pesar
Portugal managed to build a colonial
empire in Africa which was as remarkable
as out of proportion with the country’s
limited resources. This was posible thanks
to an odd combination of internal and
external factors. This successful
combination led Portuguese rulers to
attach a great ideological meaning to the
country’s overseas possessions.
Alter WWII, however, the external factors
favouring Portuguese colonial expansion
disappear. In the new context of the Cold
War and Decolonization, Portugal seems
unable to reach a successful compromise
with her colonies. Fears arise that the loss
of overseas territories might as well finish
with the Salazar Régime. Along with other
causes, these fears made it impossible for
the Portuguese government to change its
rigid policy, which was kept despite difficult
national and international circumstances,
especially since 1961.
Notwithstanding this context, most of the
Estado Novo Establishment refused to
contemplate any other alternative which
might question «the multi-continental unity
of Portugal and her overseas provinces».
This «unity» was the foundation of the
myth of the «unique case» of Portuguese
colonialism. The dogmatic character of
such unity, together with the dictatorial
nature of the régime, prevented any open
discussion about the issue.
For all these reasons, the only way out of
this impasse was war, alongside some
administrative, economic and social
reforms. These reforms were implemented
by Adriano Moreira, but they were the
confirmation of the narrow margin of
manoeuvre of Salazar’s Portugal.07352Cueto, Adolfo .
