Through the working hypothesis, it was established that the Iberian country has a wide margin for improvement in the context of digitalization. Likewise, that NGEU forms a key impulse for the recovery from the crisis caused by Covid-19, as well as for the implementation of new digital technologies in Spain. The use of the Digital Economy and Society Index, developed by the European Commission, has allowed us to carry out empirical research. The evaluation of the current situation and the progress of Spain in the field of analysis, as well as the putting it in perspective regarding the rest of the Member States, have been undertaken. Moreover, the Eurostat database has been employed, in addition to the estimations of the Spanish executive exposed through the Digital Agenda 2025, to examine investment in R&D and intangible assets and try to assess the importance of the EU recovery fund for Spain's development and progress in the digitization framework. Finally, the hypothesis and the objectives have been achieved0492<a class="citation_author_name" title="Navegar por nombre de Autor de Czubala Ostapiuk, Marcin Roman" href="/fez/list/author/Czubala Ostapiuk, Marcin Roman/">Czubala Ostapiuk, Marcin Roman</a> y <a class="citation_author_name" title="Navegar por nombre de Autor de Benedicto Solsona, Miguel Ángel" href="/fez/list/author/Benedicto Solsona, Miguel Ángel/">Benedicto Solsona, Miguel Ángel</a> . The study analyzes attitudes and needs of 424 teachers and it assesses teaching practices developed with Information and Communication Technologies (ICT). Data is analyzed through mixed methods with various instruments using descriptive analysis, factor analysis and a detailed analysis regarding teaching practice from 21 cases. In conclusion, one third of teachers properly integrate Educational Technology into practice. Moreover 62% of teachers support the applied one laptop per child policy and have positive feedback in this regard, however two thirds of the teachers in the sample integrate technology with isolated activities, adapting persisting traditional pedagogical models. There are deficiencies concerning school performance, group work, problem solving and communication in learning activities. Therefore, students need educational guidance for the appropriate use of ICT in the learning process.02962<a class="citation_author_name" title="Navegar por nombre de Autor de Sáez López, José Manuel" href="/fez/list/author/Sáez López, José Manuel/">Sáez López, José Manuel</a> y <a class="citation_author_name" title="Navegar por nombre de Autor de Rodriguez Torres, Javier" href="/fez/list/author/Rodriguez Torres, Javier/">Rodriguez Torres, Javier</a> . It focuses on an aspect of these parents’ strategies regarding disclosure (or non-disclosure) of their children’s origins which has received very little attention in the research in this field: the indirect strategies implemented in contexts beyond the parents-children dyad. The parents use these strategies to establish an environment in which the child can create an image of her- or himself as normal and non-exceptional, for which they intervene in their social networks mainly by controlling the information circulating through them and that, therefore, can reach the child. Three main contexts in which the parents implement these strategies have been identified: the extended family, the school, and family associations. The analysis of disclosure (or non-disclosure) strategies in these contexts provides some suggestions to improve professional intervention in this area.0362<a class="citation_author_name" title="Navegar por nombre de Autor de Jociles, María Isabel" href="/fez/list/author/Jociles, María Isabel/">Jociles, María Isabel</a>, <a class="citation_author_name" title="Navegar por nombre de Autor de Lores, Fernando" href="/fez/list/author/Lores, Fernando/">Lores, Fernando</a> y <a class="citation_author_name" title="Navegar por nombre de Autor de Konvalinka, Nancy" href="/fez/list/author/Konvalinka, Nancy/">Konvalinka, Nancy</a> . Applications such as Scratch have been demonstrated to be effective in educational environments. The aim of this study is to assess the use of a Visual Pro- gramming Language using Scratch in classroom practice, analyzing the outcomes and at- titudes of 107 primary school students from 5th to 6th grade in five different schools in Spain. The intervention takes place in two academic years analyzing the practice of inte- grating coding and visual blocks programming in sciences and arts. The “Computational concepts and computational practices” dimension details a quasi-experimental approach, which showed significant improvement regarding learning programming concepts, logic, and computational practices with an active approach. The “Learning processes and coding in primary education” dimension analyzes the practice of the experimental group through questionnaires and structured observation. In this pedagogical design, students interact and create their own content related to curricular areas with several advantages, such as motivation, fun, commitment, and enthusiasm, showing improvements related to computational thinking and computational practices. Understanding of computational concepts through an active approach, Project Based Learning, usefulness, motivation, and commitment underline the importance and effectiveness of implementing a Visual Pro- gramming Language from active methodologies in primary education. Due to the afore- mentioned benefits and positive results obtained in this research, it is recommended to implement a Visual Programming Language in educational settings in 5th and 6th grade in primary education through a cross-curricular implementation.03322<a class="citation_author_name" title="Navegar por nombre de Autor de Sáez López, José Manuel" href="/fez/list/author/Sáez López, José Manuel/">Sáez López, José Manuel</a>, <a class="citation_author_name" title="Navegar por nombre de Autor de Román González, Marcos" href="/fez/list/author/Román González, Marcos/">Román González, Marcos</a> y <a class="citation_author_name" title="Navegar por nombre de Autor de Vázquez Cano, Esteban" href="/fez/list/author/Vázquez Cano, Esteban/">Vázquez Cano, Esteban</a> . The selected sample is well suited to the economic reality of that Autonomous Community, considering the size of the population and the chosen confidence intervals and probabilities. The following data-collection techniques were used: surveys, open questions, closed questions, and dichotomous questions. Qualitative Focus-Group techniques were chosen, to contrast the information and to validate its reliability, in view of the training criteria and the hierarchical position of the interviewees working for firms with experience in the Construction Sector. Participants included risk-prevention experts from the public administrations. The results point to difficulties with the integration of Occupational Risk Prevention (ORP) in the Management Systems of SMEs in the Spanish construction sector, outside the corporate structure of the firm.0392<a class="citation_author_name" title="Navegar por nombre de Autor de Segarra Cañamares, M." href="/fez/list/author/Segarra Cañamares, M./">Segarra Cañamares, M.</a>, <a class="citation_author_name" title="Navegar por nombre de Autor de Villena Escribano, B. explicar el conflicto diplomático
entre el gobierno de la II República
presidido por Manuel Azaña y el de
Estados Unidos, durante 1931 y
1932.
El Directorio militar de Primo de
Rivera otorgó, en 1924, a la
Compañía Telefónica Nacional de
España, filial de la norteamericana
ITandT, la concesión en régimen de
monopolio del servicio telefónico,
por adjudicación directa, mediante
un procedimiento que los
republicanos consideraban ilegal e
irregular, y en unas condiciones
excesivamente perjudiciales para el
Estado español.
La coalición republicano-socialista,
primero en la oposición, y, después
en el gobierno, hizo de la
derogación del Contrato y la
nacionalización de la Telefónica,
una de sus propuestas más
emblemáticas.
Cuando Azaña quiso llevar a la
práctica esta política, se encontró
con la tenaz oposición del gobierno
de los EE.UU. que amenazó con
interrumpir las inversiones
norteamericanas en España, si el
gobierno republicano llevaba a cabo su propósito. This article covers the diplomatic
conflict between Azaña s Spanish
Second Republican and the US
Governments, from 1931 to 1932,
about Telefónica, Co. subsidiary of
International Telegraph and
Telephone, Co, ITandT
In 1924, the concession to exploit
the telephonic service in Spain
under a monopollstic system was
granted by Primo de Rivera´s
military Directorate to the
«Compañía Telefónica Nacional de
España» (CTNE) subsidiary of
ITandT This concession was
consldered by the Republicans not
only as illegal and irregular but also
under unreasonable damaging
conditions for Spain.
For these reasons, the Republican -
Socialist coalition took both the
repeal of this concession and the
nationalization of Telefónica as two
ofits most emblematic proposals.
Once in power, Azaña tried to
Implement both of them. His
government ran into the strong
opposition of the American
government which even threatened
with cutting off its investments in
Spain if Azaña´s government
insisted on this position.05882<a class="citation_author_name" title="Browse by Author Name for Martínez Ovejero, Antonio" href="/fez/list/author/Martínez Ovejero, Antonio/">Martínez Ovejero, Antonio</a> . This is the case of Virtual Research Environments (VREs), as they facilitate researchers and users from different communities a place to develop, store, share and preserve their work (Carusi and Reimer, 2010). The first DH Center in Spain, LINHD, the Digital Innovation Lab at UNED has started developing EVILINHD, the first VRE for Spanish-speakers (González-Blanco, 2016; del Río Riande, 2016b). The environment offers researchers a collaborative space in the cloud to manage all phases of their projects: the edition process, storage into the database, and text visualization in several output formats, such as HTML. In order to facilitate digital scholarly editing a specific tagging tool has been developed as a cloud application implemented with Vaadin, an open-source Java framework and integrated in EVILINHD: TEIScribe (TEIScribe, 2016). TEIScribe helps the DH community to concurrently label texts with TEI without XML knowledge through a graphic and intuitive design that aims to break language and technological barriers. The tool, that was conceived and developed for the BIESES project in order to boost collaborative work (BIESES, 2016), is based on some of the existing collaborative cloud editors (such as FontoXML, or CWRC writer), so its learning curve is low. The creation, modification and eliminating of labels and attributes is done with only a few mouse clicks. Since not all projects have the same labeling needs (Spadini, 2015), each text in TEIScribe is linked to a particular scheme that establishes the TEI-file structure (an XML file). All documents employed by the application are stored in a NoSQL database, a documental database, namely eXistDB, which organizes the different XML documents and schemes by project, and their correspondence. In this way, the tool greatly simplifies the user's work, since it can automatically detect and highlight mistakes on labels, which do not meet the requirement of associated schemes.0ponencia congreso10402<a class="citation_author_name" title="Navegar por nombre de Autor de González-Blanco García, Elena" href="/fez/list/author/González-Blanco García, Elena/">González-Blanco García, Elena</a>(<span class="citation_date">2016</span>) .<a class="citation_title" title="Click para ver : TEIScribe: A graphic tool for composing and testing TEI documents in the context of the EVI-LINHD environment" href="/fez/view/bibliuned:363-Egonzalez10">TEIScribe: A graphic tool for composing and testing TEI documents in the context of the EVI-LINHD environment</a>.
pudiera contribuir a incrementar y preparar
The Register of Seamen was a measure
taken in the Kingdom of Spain to recruit
soldiers for the navy.
The creation of the Register of Seamen
answered to military motivation, fostering
the fishing activity acquiring a secondary
role in this process. The only interest was
to bring fishermen to the navy. This
situation, as well, helped decrease the
dependency on the cod industry of
Northern Europe.
This system was put into practice partially
in 1717, 1726, 1728, and 1737, under a
number of regulations. In spite of these
initial efforts, it was not until 1751 and
1754 that the Register of Seamen was
implemented.
In the Canary Islands, the Register of
Seamen was not at work until 1804. Until
then, it had only been functional in
Mainland Spain and Spanish America. On
July 6th, 1804, the Spanish Government
set up in the island of Tenerife a
Subcommittee of the Register of Seamen
which regulated the recruitment of
The archaeological site of Valverde is placed on a slope of the Valverde Mount, near one of the entrances
into the basin of Monforte de Lemos (Lugo, Galicia, Spain). After the finding of a lithic scatter a survey
was carried out in 2007-2009, yielding more than 2400 implements. The lithic assemblage is characterized by
the presence of expedient “chaines operatoires” made on quartz and medium-quality quartzite. On the other hand, blade and microblade blanks are produced on rock crystal and fine-grained quartzite, the latter from outcrops located 8 km to the SW. Although scarce, the use of allochthonous flint is also attested. Based on the reduction sequences identified at the site, and namely, on the presence of broken leaf points, a Solutrean adscription for this assemblage is proposed, therefore becoming the first evidence of LGM settlement in the inner part of NW Iberia.06412<a class="citation_author_name" title="Browse by Author Name for Lombera Hermida, Arturo de" href="/fez/list/author/Lombera Hermida, Arturo de/">Lombera Hermida, Arturo de</a>, <a class="citation_author_name" title="Browse by Author Name for Rodríguez Álvarez, Xose-Pedro" href="/fez/list/author/Rodríguez Álvarez, Xose-Pedro/">Rodríguez Álvarez, Xose-Pedro</a>, <a class="citation_author_name" title="Browse by Author Name for Rabuñal Gayo, Xose" href="/fez/list/author/Rabuñal Gayo, Xose/">Rabuñal Gayo, Xose</a>, <a class="citation_author_name" title="Browse by Author Name for Iglesias, Ameijenda" href="/fez/list/author/Iglesias, Ameijenda/">Iglesias, Ameijenda</a>, <a class="citation_author_name" title="Browse by Author Name for Martínez Gómez, Fátima" href="/fez/list/author/Martínez Gómez, Fátima/">Martínez Gómez, Fátima</a>, <a class="citation_author_name" title="Browse by Author Name for Soares Remiseiro, Miguel" href="/fez/list/author/Soares Remiseiro, Miguel/">Soares Remiseiro, Miguel</a>, <a class="citation_author_name" title="Browse by Author Name for Pérez Alberti, Augusto" href="/fez/list/author/Pérez Alberti, Augusto/">Pérez Alberti, Augusto</a> and <a class="citation_author_name" title="Browse by Author Name for Fábregas Valcarce, Ramón" href="/fez/list/author/Fábregas Valcarce, Ramón/">Fábregas Valcarce, Ramón</a> . una comparación entre el diseño e inicio
y fracaso escolar, analfabetismo y trabajo
This article establishes a comparison between,
on the one hand, the springboard of
a public system for childhood protection in
Morocco, particularly in Tanger. On the other,
a social services’ system developed in Spain
as a best practices experience with infants
and teenagers in social risk.
The Moroccan Government, on its 2006-
2015 Action Plan for Childhood, holds the
responsibility of designing an attention and
protection system on every medium and big
size city through childhood protection units.
Besides the existent severe situations of risk
(school failure and abandonment, illiteracy,
child work…), it is the pressure from other
countries that contributes to the implementation
of these public policies, as an strategy
for preventing irregular child migration.
Tanger, as an strategic border town, has
been chosen in particular in this article
because there are many children waiting on
its streets for the opportunity to migrate.
That’s why institutions and partnerships in
Tanger work together to develop an attention
and protection system for an extremely
vulnerable group.06552<a class="citation_author_name" title="Browse by Author Name for López Gallego, David" href="/fez/list/author/López Gallego, David/">López Gallego, David</a> and <a class="citation_author_name" title="Browse by Author Name for García Andrés, Eva" href="/fez/list/author/García Andrés, Eva/">García Andrés, Eva</a> . No such data are available for the Spanish population. This study addresses this issue by studying prevalence rates and factors related to a common response to prolonged stress such as burnout syndrome. Burnout, emotional abilities, resilience, satisfaction with the dissertation advisor, and sociodemographic data were collected from 305 PhD students. The results indicated that the burnout rates are high in this group, especially for the emotional exhaustion dimension. Different linear regression models explained between 14% and 41% of the overall burnout scores variance and its dimensions. The psychological variables and the satisfaction with the dissertation advisor were the most relevant predictors. Consistent with what has been found in other countries, the evidence found indicates that the mental state of PhD students in Spain is alarming. The results of this study have important implications for the design and implementation of interventions to alleviate this problem.0202<a class="citation_author_name" title="Navegar por nombre de Autor de Sorrel, Miguel A." href="/fez/list/author/Sorrel, Miguel A./">Sorrel, Miguel A.</a>, <a class="citation_author_name" title="Navegar por nombre de Autor de Martínez-Huertas, José Ángel" href="/fez/list/author/Martínez-Huertas, José Ángel/">Martínez-Huertas, José Ángel</a> y <a class="citation_author_name" title="Navegar por nombre de Autor de Arconada, María" href="/fez/list/author/Arconada, María/">Arconada, María</a> . <span class="citation_date">2013</span>. <span class="citation_publisher">Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia (España).
