The original Latin text has recently been translated into Spanish and consists of thirty chapters. In his book, Funger deals with the contents of the studies, the intellectual habits of pupils, the virtues they should attain and the vices they should avoid.07242<a class="citation_author_name" title="Navegar por nombre de Autor de Comella Gutiérrez, Beatriz" href="/fez/list/author/Comella Gutiérrez, Beatriz/">Comella Gutiérrez, Beatriz</a> . As in any assessment, an accurate reliability estimation is crucial for valid score interpretations. In this sense, most CDM reliability indices are based on the posterior probabilities of the estimated attribute profiles. These posteriors are traditionally computed using point estimates for the model parameters as approximations to their populational values. If the uncertainty around these parameters is unaccounted for, the posteriors may be overly peaked, deriving into overestimated reliabilities. This article presents a multiple imputation (MI) procedure to integrate out the model parameters in the estimation of the posterior distributions, thus correcting the reliability estimation. A simulation study was conducted to compare the MI procedure with the traditional reliability estimation. Five factors were manipulated: the attribute structure, the CDM model (DINA and G-DINA), test length, sample size, and item quality. Additionally, an illustration using the Examination for the Certificate of Proficiency in English data was analyzed. The effect of sample size was studied by sampling subsets of subjects from the complete data. In both studies, the traditional reliability estimation systematically provided overestimated reliabilities, whereas the MI procedure offered more accurate results. Accordingly, practitioners in small educational or clinical settings should be aware that the reliability estimation using model parameter point estimates may be positively biased.
The autarkic period end left the Asturian mining regions in a difficult situation. Production structures
were obsolete, leaving little room to the competitiveness of its coal and steel in a new context of free and
open trade. But even more pressing it was regarding its urban and social fabric. In the Sixties of the twentieth
century many places still lacked basic infrastructures like roads, electricity or water, and all the basins
had little education facilities, sports, and libraries. TheMining Habitat Improvement Plan ofwill try to correct
these imbalances before addressing the restructuring of itsmain industrial sectors.05792<a class="citation_author_name" title="Browse by Author Name for Suárez Antuña, Faustino" href="/fez/list/author/Suárez Antuña, Faustino/">Suárez Antuña, Faustino</a> .
The article examines the public policies for the Child, in the context of the social transformations that have recently emerged in this field. In the last decades, and due to various reasons, the international organizations have had great prominence in the regulation of the Child protection and in the establishment of measures for its execution. The rights established for the safeguard of the Child protection have driven numerous social services.
The measures developed by the International Organizations have been slowly assumed by European countries, such as Spain that not only has a State-level legislation, but also a prolix Autonomic-level one. Many Administrative Plans of Intervention have been elaborated with validity for several years and have articulated a wide range of benefits for Child. Without any doubt, we have one of the social services with a larger dynamism due to the constant changes of the need of protection.
The article analyzes the impact of the crisis in children and teenagers, as a consequence of family situations, or as a result of the public policies taken to face those situations.
The study finally highlights the consequences of not taking into consideration the impact in Child of the decisions in social, economic, educative and health politics, and the consequences of not protecting correctly the Child and its rights during this hard and complex period of social and economic transformations.07262<a class="citation_author_name" title="Browse by Author Name for Alemán Bracho, Carmen" href="/fez/list/author/Alemán Bracho, Carmen/">Alemán Bracho, Carmen</a> .
