Un estado de la cuestión acerca de la cronología radiocarbónica en 2012 = The end of the Gravettian and the beginnings of the Solutrean in the Iberian Peninsula.
The transition between the end of the Gravettian and the beginning of the Solutrean in the Iberian Peninsula
is, in geographical, chronological and formal aspects still full of uncertainties. The goal of this paper
is clarify this problem with a critical perspective through a review of the available chronological evidence in
the Iberian Peninsula. For this purpose, we have collected all the dates from this chronology and we have connected
them with the archaeological data (mainly, industrial assemblages). This raw data has been modeled
with the software OxCal 4.1.7. The chronological framework allows us to define the Solutrean lower limits
and the upper limits of the Gravettian, and the relationship between both phases. In addition, we considered
the general overview of this period from a chronological perspective, keeping in mind the developments made
in the radiocarbon methodology.04952<a class="citation_author_name" title="Browse by Author Name for Calvo, Aitor" href="/fez/list/author/Calvo, Aitor/">Calvo, Aitor</a> and <a class="citation_author_name" title="Browse by Author Name for Prieto, Alejandro" href="/fez/list/author/Prieto, Alejandro/">Prieto, Alejandro</a> . por los diferentes investigadores en torno a las controversias que para el
In this paper are revised the arguments assumed by the different scholars
in the discussion about the first settiement of Europe with the controversy
arised between the called «long chronology» and «short chronology
», and its implications in the debate of the Lower Paleolithic of Europe.
In our opinión, chronological questions only can be discussed from a geographical
context that includes África and the Next Orient. From this perspective
the «long chronology» seems unable to créate a theoretical framework
to explain an industrial sequence plio-pleistocene made
exclusively whit typological arguments and extrapolated from the African
sequence with clear chronological dichotomies. Finally, v/e want to denote
the finding in the last years of several sites in the Iberian Península with
dates around 1 myr ago that introduce new and interesting aspects in this
debate.05672<a class="citation_author_name" title="Browse by Author Name for Martos Romero, Juan Antonio" href="/fez/list/author/Martos Romero, Juan Antonio/">Martos Romero, Juan Antonio</a> . They are located at thewest margin of the Guadalquivir river estuary. The accumulation of aeolian sands partly blocks the connection between theample Guadalquivir River estuary and the Gulf of Cádiz in the Atlantic Ocean. The sand units forma large oval dome, the “Abalario Dome”which connectswith the large Doñana Spit Barwhere dune systems accumulated aswell, at least in part coevally with the spit growth. Themost frequent dune morphologies are parabolic or transverse. The degree of activity was classified as stable, semiactive and active. Most stable dunes concentrate on the Abalario Dome, whereas active dunes occur mainly on the Doñana spit bar. Relative chronology was established from the superposition of dune Systems and Subsystems deduced from photogeology coupledwith field surveys, orthophotos, and oblique and 3D images. Sampling and radiogenic dating (Optically Stimulated Luminescence-OSL) allowed to date eight dune Systems named as Systems I to VII plus an additional CS, which is a laterally equivalent to part of S IV, V and VI. The proposed ages are: System I, age 11.1 38 to 9.5 ky BP, perhaps extending to 8.5 ky BP. System II, 8.2 to 6.1 ky BP. System III, 5.9 to 2.6 ky BP. 39 System IV, 2.6 to 1.6 ky BP. System V, 1.6 to 1.3 ky BP. System VI, 1.2 to 0.7 ky BP. System VII, 0.7 to 40 0.15 ky BP. The age of the Complex System is 2.2 to 0.15 ky BP. Additionally, it was concluded that genesis of the somewhat-different Complex System(CS)was related to the increased accumulation space created by movements (sliding) along the Mazagón and Torre del Loro faults following major regional seismic activity.026522<a class="citation_author_name" title="Navegar por nombre de Autor de Goy, José Luis" href="/fez/list/author/Goy, José Luis/">Goy, José Luis</a>, <a class="citation_author_name" title="Navegar por nombre de Autor de Zazo, Caridad" href="/fez/list/author/Zazo, Caridad/">Zazo, Caridad</a>, <a class="citation_author_name" title="Navegar por nombre de Autor de Dabrio, C. el ídolo que hemos denominado
de Peñalaveja. Presenta características
que lo sitúan en un punto intemiedio
entre los ídolos del tipo Peñatu
(Asturias) y los de Peña Lostroso,
El Redular (Cantabria) y Portillo Viejo
(Burgos).

pondera y material de construcción;
además se hallaron diversos restos
metálicos y una aguja de hueso. El
estudio nos proporciona una cronología
de finales del s. I y mediados del s. II.
Aunque el basurero es el único resto
romano hallado en el citado solar, no
constituye un elemento aislado, ya que
a comienzos del siglo se encontró en
el cercano Pte. de los Franceses un
ara funeraria, asociada a cerámicas y
monedas que sin duda era parte de
una necrópolis perteneciente a una
villa, uno de cuyos basureros se
analiza en este artículo.
A la importancia de sumar un nuevo
hallazgo en Madrid, se añade el hecho
de ser uno de los pocos vestigios
romanos excavados recientemente en
la capital y que además aporta
interesantes datos cronológicos y
económicos para el análisis de la
presencia romana en la zona.A román rubbish dump was founded

de África. The materials were
placed in the site at the same time
and they are an important
assemblage of román pottery: T.S.H.,
T.S.H. avellana, Thin-wailed pottery,
painted pottery, glaced pottery,
kitchen and table common pottery,
pondera and building material;
moreover it was founded several
metal remains and one bone needle.
The complete study offers a
chronological frame work between
the end of I century and the middie of
llnd century.
Although the rubbish dump is the
only one román remain founded in
the mentioned excavation , it is not
an isolated factor, since at the
beginings of this century, it was
founded a funeral altar stone, near
Pte. de los Franceses, asociated to
pottery and coins that, probably,
were part of the necrópolis from a
next villa.
This finding is un importat discovery,
because it is one of the few román
remains excavated recently at Madrid
and also it provides interesting
chronological and economical data
for the comprehesion of román traces
in the area.05992<a class="citation_author_name" title="Browse by Author Name for Guiral Pelegrín, Carmen" href="/fez/list/author/Guiral Pelegrín, Carmen/">Guiral Pelegrín, Carmen</a> . numismática permite distinguir dos
periodos distintos, en extensión y
contenido: entre el 225 a. C. y el 31 a. C.
competencia temporal.Iconographic analysis of the numismatic
sample allows us to distinguish two
different periods, both in length as well as
in content: between 225 BC and 31 BC,
the «Janus’ head» type appears, is
repeated and, in the end, is contaminated;
between 119 AD and 260 AD, the god´s
image is recovered by means of the
«Janus’ body» type. Contrasting this result,
although the literary sources do not agree
accurately on the description, they show
important similarities in terms of
chronology and interpretation. In the
Republic, the repeated and simple image
is linked to the military power of Rome but,
unusually, the Antonine rescue changes
the use and meaning because Janus is
included in a program that needs the
god’s functions concerning time.05092<a class="citation_author_name" title="Browse by Author Name for Pradas Blasco, María Teresa" href="/fez/list/author/Pradas Blasco, María Teresa/">Pradas Blasco, María Teresa</a> . Haematite and amorphous carbon were used as pigments. Microscopic contamination spots with ε-copper-phthalocyanine blue, have been detected.
Romanticism brought about deep changes in versification.
Espronceda is one of the authors who show a better example
about the new metrical patterns. The Robert Marrast edition
“(José de Espronceda) Poesías líricas y fragmentos épicos” presents
a near 5 000 verses corpus, in which we can examine in detail what
those changes consisted of.
From a deep analysis, which takes into account main metrical
items (types of verse and rhythmic patterns, rhymes, strophic
models), we nearly get a drawing of a chronology about versifying
manners of the author, an evolution that carries him from neoclassical
moulds to most clearly romantical innovations. And we can
also watch how emerge some very marked metrical choices, so the
use of hendecasyllable and octosyllable, acute rhyme, specially in
octavillas and cuartetos, the mixture of various types of verses and
strophes in the songs, or the use of refrain in the last ones.010192<a class="citation_author_name" title="Browse by Author Name for Aguado Martínez, Justo" href="/fez/list/author/Aguado Martínez, Justo/">Aguado Martínez, Justo</a> .

realidad objetiva. La abundancia de
yacimientos con arte correspondiente a
este momento no puede realicionarse,
con un vacío de referencias
arqueológicas pero, todavía tioy, es muy
difícil establecer sobre elementos
materiales, y sobre todo, estatigráficos,
el contexto cronológico y cultural en el
que se produciría el desarrollo de los
procesos artísticos del interior

esperamos que en un futuro próximo se
produzca un sustancial avance en el

The abundance of deposits with

it is very difficult to establish on

stratigraphics, the chronological

The ongoing discoveries of cave painting sites of the schematic style in
Murcia so far has provided with an important bulk of Information, which has
not always been approached by following the adequate accuracy nor guidelines
so as to give shape to it within the context of the local prehistoric art.
By this synthesizing piece of worlk, we intend to lay down some common
starting points for the analysis of schematic cave painting. Once overecome
the purely aesthetic aspects of art, we will aim to consider others, such as
the chronological and cultural context and, consequently, the ideological
background supporting it.06852<a class="citation_author_name" title="Browse by Author Name for Bernal Monreal, José Antonio" href="/fez/list/author/Bernal Monreal, José Antonio/">Bernal Monreal, José Antonio</a> and <a class="citation_author_name" title="Browse by Author Name for Mateo Saura, Miguel Ángel" href="/fez/list/author/Mateo Saura, Miguel Ángel/">Mateo Saura, Miguel Ángel</a> . The origin and palaeoenvironmental meaning of these karstic forms are described for the first time in the littoral of Cadiz, within a chronological framework based on OSL (Optically Stimulated Luminescence) and U/Th (alpha and TIMS) dating.0ponencia congreso2622<a class="citation_author_name" title="Navegar por nombre de Autor de Cabero, A." href="/fez/list/author/Cabero, A./">Cabero, A.</a>, <a class="citation_author_name" title="Navegar por nombre de Autor de Zazo, C." href="/fez/list/author/Zazo, C./">Zazo, C.</a>, <a class="citation_author_name" title="Navegar por nombre de Autor de Goy, J.L." href="/fez/list/author/Goy, J.L./">Goy, J.L.</a>, <a class="citation_author_name" title="Navegar por nombre de Autor de Lario, Javier" href="/fez/list/author/Lario, Javier/">Lario, Javier</a>, <a class="citation_author_name" title="Navegar por nombre de Autor de Dabrio, C." href="/fez/list/author/Dabrio, C./">Dabrio, C.</a>, <a class="citation_author_name" title="Navegar por nombre de Autor de Borja, F." href="/fez/list/author/Borja, F./">Borja, F.</a>, <a class="citation_author_name" title="Navegar por nombre de Autor de Bardají, T." href="/fez/list/author/Bardají, T./">Bardají, T.</a>, <a class="citation_author_name" title="Navegar por nombre de Autor de Silva, P.G." href="/fez/list/author/Silva, P.G./">Silva, P.G.</a> y <a class="citation_author_name" title="Navegar por nombre de Autor de Roquero, E." href="/fez/list/author/Roquero, E./">Roquero, E.</a>(<span class="citation_date">2005</span>) .<a class="citation_title" title="Click para ver : Procesos cársticos en terrazas marinas del último interglaciar asociados a cambios climáticos y de nivel del mar (Golfo de Cádiz, España)" href="/fez/view/bibliuned:grupinvestGAMA-Ponencias-Jlario-0004">Procesos cársticos en terrazas marinas del último interglaciar asociados a cambios climáticos y de nivel del mar (Golfo de Cádiz, España)</a>. <b></b>.En: <span class="citation_conference_location">Gibraltar</span>. Yet anthologies usually are accompanied by prefaces written by the editor where the rationale is justified. Thus, the prefaces of some of the most relevant anthologies of the 20th and 21st centuries, such as the three editions of The Oxford Book of English Verse or The Norton Anthology of Poetry, have been analysed to inductively extract the main constituting elements of anthologies. These are the language in which poems are written, the literary tradition and national boundaries taken into account, the genre of the poems, the historical or authorial chronological order, the aim, function, and anthology of translations El gran vent i les heures differs from the analysed anthologies in that, according to the Catalan anthologist, it does not try to choose a representative sample of a tradition; it is a personal anthology that does not aim at being systematic (Manent, El gran vent 12; emphasis added). Nonetheless, a detailed study of the anthology leads to the opposite conclusion that it is indeed a systematic anthology imagery which synthesises the ideas of the previous critics, El gran vent is said to be actually systematic and organised according to four archetypal categories, namely nature as Eden, death as the great equaliser, love as unity, and war as conflict, and a fifth category of poems s argument that El gran vent might be translator, poet, critic, and anthologist0Doctoral Thesis3602<a class="citation_author_name" title="Navegar por nombre de Autor de Granell Sales, Carles" href="/fez/list/author/Granell Sales, Carles/">Granell Sales, Carles</a>. tecno-morfológico y funcional de los
instrumentos líticos recuperados en el
sitio arqueológico Paso Otero 3 (Pcia.
de Buenos Aires, Argentina). El
material analizado corresponde a un
sitio de matanza y procesamiento
primario, producto de las actividades
de grupos cazadores recolectores,
datado en 4777 ± 77 años CU A.P. El
conjunto recuperado está conformado
por material faunístico, en su mayoría
a huesos de guanaco, y material lítico
consistente en instrumentos con
retoque unifacial y desechos de talla.
Los objetivos de este trabajo son
comparar los resultados obtenidos del
análisis tecno-morfológico de los
instrumentos líticos, con aquellos
alcanzados a través del análisis
funcional de los mismos. Creemos que
este tipo de estudio comparativo es
importante pues arroja nueva
información que complementa a la
clásica aproximación tecnomorfológica
de los instrumentos. En
suma, este enfoque provee datos que
aportan al entendimiento de la
explotación del ambiente, tanto de las
materias primas líticas como de los
recursos de subsistencia y por lo tanto
generan información adicional que
ayuda a comprender aspectos de la
funcionalidad del sitio. This paper deals with the technomorphological
and functional aspects
of lithic tools recovered from the
Paso Otero 3 site (Buenos Aires
Province, Argentine). The site was
defined as a kill and primary
processing loci based on the
characteristics of faunal remains and
lithic debris and it was
chronologically dated to 4,777 ± 77
years BP.
The main goal of this paper is to
compare the results obtained from
two different Unes of evidence
resulting from techno-morphological
and microwear analyses of lithic
tools. The results obtained in this
comparative analysis show that some
of the functions commonly assigned
to specific «types» were not
performed by these artefacts.
l\Aoreover, additional information was
obtained from the microwear analysis
which indícales the raw materials
that were modified by using ttiis tool
assemblage.
This comparativo approach provides
new insighits into ttie understanding
of both the exploitation of different
resources and the activities carried
out in these specific activity sites

societies who inhabited the Pampean
Región during the middie Holocene.07262<a class="citation_author_name" title="Browse by Author Name for Landini, Cecilia" href="/fez/list/author/Landini, Cecilia/">Landini, Cecilia</a>, <a class="citation_author_name" title="Browse by Author Name for Bonomo, Mariano" href="/fez/list/author/Bonomo, Mariano/">Bonomo, Mariano</a>, <a class="citation_author_name" title="Browse by Author Name for Leipus, Marcela" href="/fez/list/author/Leipus, Marcela/">Leipus, Marcela</a> and <a class="citation_author_name" title="Browse by Author Name for Martínez, Gustavo" href="/fez/list/author/Martínez, Gustavo/">Martínez, Gustavo</a> . Effects of Age and Self-Perceptions of Agingbibliuned:DptoMCC-FPSI-Articulos-Jamartinez-0021To longitudinally analyze the correlates of loneliness and psychological distress in people exposed to the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) lockdown, exploring the effects of age and self-perceptions of aging (SPA). Methods: A longitudinal follow-up of 1,549 participants was carried out at four different time points during the lockdown in Spain. Questions about the risk of COVID-19, age, SPA, family and personal resources, loneliness, and psychological distress were measured. Results: Changes in loneliness showed a linear longitudinal trajectory through time, but changes in psychological distress showed a U-shaped relationship with time. Age was a relevant predictor of differences in distress, with older people reporting less psychological distress. Change in both dependent variables was related to change in different predictors like family and personal variables and also to negative SPA. Discussion: In a stressful situation such as the COVID-19 pandemic, older adults may be more resilient to adverse mental health outcomes by using more adaptive resources that strengthen their resilience. Support is provided for the importance of stereotyped views of the aging process that, independently of chronological age, may put people at risk of suffering adverse mental health outcomes such as loneliness and psychological distress in times of crisis.0242<a class="citation_author_name" title="Navegar por nombre de Autor de Losada-Baltar, Andés" href="/fez/list/author/Losada-Baltar, Andés/">Losada-Baltar, Andés</a>, <a class="citation_author_name" title="Navegar por nombre de Autor de Martínez-Huertas, José Ángel" href="/fez/list/author/Martínez-Huertas, José Ángel/">Martínez-Huertas, José Ángel</a>, <a class="citation_author_name" title="Navegar por nombre de Autor de Jiménez-Gonzalo, Lucía" href="/fez/list/author/Jiménez-Gonzalo, Lucía/">Jiménez-Gonzalo, Lucía</a>, <a class="citation_author_name" title="Navegar por nombre de Autor de Pedroso-Chaparro, María del Sequeros" href="/fez/list/author/Pedroso-Chaparro, María del Sequeros/">Pedroso-Chaparro, María del Sequeros</a>, <a class="citation_author_name" title="Navegar por nombre de Autor de Gallego-Alberto, Laura" href="/fez/list/author/Gallego-Alberto, Laura/">Gallego-Alberto, Laura</a>, <a class="citation_author_name" title="Navegar por nombre de Autor de Fernandes-Pires, José" href="/fez/list/author/Fernandes-Pires, José/">Fernandes-Pires, José</a> y <a class="citation_author_name" title="Navegar por nombre de Autor de Márquez-González, María" href="/fez/list/author/Márquez-González, María/">Márquez-González, María</a> . This PhD offers a historical overview of preternatural phenomena, that is, of those experiences, sensations and feelings that are thus far inexplicable from existing academic perspectives. Ghost sightings, encounters with ghosts and spirits, telepathy, thought transference, and near-death experiences are examples of preternatural phenomena. Although they have been approached from different perspectives, strange phenomena have been scarcely studied. This has resulted in one of!he majar problems in approaching preternatural phenomena -a prejudiced rejection announced by Kant and denounced by James. Scientists and philosophers -even the rnost open-minded- have not made any real efforts to approach a number of events that contributed to shape the society they lived in. Likewise, researchers devoted to the study of preternatural phenomena have no! tried to understand or refute!he criticism on their work. The present PhD intends to offer a combined perspective on!he subject -an analysis that aspires to be both critical and as free as prejudice as possible. This relates to the dichotomy between scholar science and "marginal science", which has traditionally been neglected or treated as pseudoscience. This dissertation focuses on a specific historical period: the second half of the 18'" century and!he 19'" century -a time when mediums, psychics, and seers thrived, and ghostly encounters took place in unprecedented numbers. Preternatural phenomena were, indeed, in fashion -also in Academy: Swedenborg, Kant, and James are bu! three of the many philosophers, scientists, and religious scholars who devoted part of their work to this complex subject. The third section of this PhD offers a brief overview of the determining historie events that took place during the transition from the Modern to!he Contemporary age, and lays out the majar theories that contributed to shape subsequent scholarly approaches to preternatural phenomena. The different discussed elements are thematically brought together and put into relation far their analysis in!he ensuing chapters. Each of the authors is here discussed as a representative of a speciftc approach and they are presented in chronological arder: Swedenborg (as a representative of the spiritual approach), Kant (as a representative of!he philosophical approach), and William James (as a representative of the scientiftc approach). This PhD is structured as follows: the introduction, which is devoted to justify the pertinence of this research and offer an outline of!he state of!he art, is followed by a section dedicated to Swedenborg. This first section delves into!he main events of the author's lile and career and lays out!he question of his classification as an author -should he be called a scientist, a seer, a mystic? lt also constitutes an introduction of Swedenborg's visionary activity in the Spanish field.0Doctoral Thesis7142<a class="citation_author_name" title="Navegar por nombre de Autor de López Vale, Alma" href="/fez/list/author/López Vale, Alma/">López Vale, Alma</a>.
no interpretados.
In the solutrean site of La Cueva de Ambrosio (Vélez-Blanco, Almería, Spain) several engraved and
painted figures dated on the Upper Palaeolithic, have been found during the field works of 1992 and 1994.
In The panel I we have identified an excellent representation of a horse, a bird, one bovidae and another
protome of a horse. Below this surface there are many red ochre wall paintings covered by a calcitic speleotheme
and for the time being we are unable to give any interpretation for it. In the second panel we have
discovered more tone splendid red painted horse, two more enngraved horses and a little head of one other
black painted horse. There are many engraved lines and pictural rests that must be studied in the future.
The exceptionality of this discovery is that we can interrelate perfectly these rock art paintings with the
archaeological levels clearly defined chronologically and culturally (ca. 20000 BP), Middle Solutrean and
Upper Solutrean from the same site.07042<a class="citation_author_name" title="Browse by Author Name for Ripoll López, Sergio" href="/fez/list/author/Ripoll López, Sergio/">Ripoll López, Sergio</a>, <a class="citation_author_name" title="Browse by Author Name for Muñoz Ibáñez, Francisco J." href="/fez/list/author/Muñoz Ibáñez, Francisco J./">Muñoz Ibáñez, Francisco J.</a>, <a class="citation_author_name" title="Browse by Author Name for Jordá Pardo, Jesús F." href="/fez/list/author/Jordá Pardo, Jesús F./">Jordá Pardo, Jesús F.</a> and <a class="citation_author_name" title="Browse by Author Name for Martín Lerma, Ignacio" href="/fez/list/author/Martín Lerma, Ignacio/">Martín Lerma, Ignacio</a> .
