En Andrómaca el coro se encuentra entre dos mujeres víctimas, aunque de diferente modo, de la guerra: Andrómaca y Hermíone. La relación que establece el grupo de mujeres de Ftía con las dos heroínas contribuye a su caracterización y posibilita una plena comprensión de la obra. La centralidad del coro es muy relevante y refuerza la consideración de esta obra como una tragedia coral.
Abstract
The female chorus in the Andromache places itself between two women, both victims, but in different ways, of the war: Andromache and Hermione. The relationship that binds this group of Phthian women to the heroines contributes to their characterization and enable a complete comprehension of the play. The chorus’s centrality is relevant and emphasize the appreciation of the play as a choral tragedy.
